Meet Britt Welander

Hi, I’m Britt, and I’ve been coaching triathletes since 2015—but my journey with this amazing sport began a few years earlier, in 2012, when I fell head over heels for triathlon myself.

What started as a personal challenge motivated by a friend quickly turned into a deep passion, and before long, I found myself wanting to share everything I’d learned with others. Coaching was the natural next step for me.

I got my start coaching Emirates Airlines crew while living in Dubai, and since then, I’ve had the privilege of working with athletes from all walks of life—beginners taking on their first sprint triathlon or 5km race, seasoned competitors chasing PBs, and everything in between. I specialize in creating personalized training programs through TrainingPeaks that fit your lifestyle, goals, and experience level. Whether it’s your first race or your fiftieth, I’m here to help you grow stronger, faster, and more confident—physically and mentally.

As a coach, I believe in a holistic approach: smart training, consistent progress, and building mental resilience. It’s not just about crossing the finish line; it’s about discovering what you’re capable of along the way.

I love working closely with athletes to build trust, understand what drives them, and support them through every high and low. It’s incredibly rewarding to see someone push through self-doubt or a tough training block and come out the other side stronger than ever.

Over the years, I’ve been lucky enough to compete at some of the sport’s highest levels and these experiences have shaped my coaching style and given me real-world insights into what it takes to perform under pressure.

What I’m most proud of in my coaching journey isn’t the medals or results—it’s the people. Seeing athletes grow in confidence, break through barriers, and achieve things they never thought possible is what keeps me passionate every single day. Everyone’s path is different, and I feel honored to be part of those journeys.

If you're ready to take on a new challenge, sharpen your running or swimming skills, or simply fall in love with triathlon like I did, I’d love to help guide you there.
