Hi, I’m Britt Welander – Founder of Custom Coaching
My journey into endurance sports began in 2012 with a personal challenge: completing a triathlon. What started as a goal quickly turned into a lifelong passion that propelled me into high-level competition and professional coaching.
Since 2015, I’ve been coaching athletes across the spectrum—from first-time finishers to elite performers—delivering structured, data-driven training, race-day strategies, and mental performance coaching that gets results. My approach is rooted in evidence-based methodologies, personalized programming, and a relentless focus on athlete development.
As an athlete myself, I bring firsthand experience and competitive insight to every coaching relationship. My racing career includes multiple podium finishes at Ironman and Ironman 70.3 events, as well as an 11th place finish at the 2024 Ironman 70.3 World Championships in Taupō, New Zealand—a performance that reflects the same high-performance mindset I instill in my athletes.
